Yesterday Chelsea and Mark blessed their "Sweet Baby James". It is always a blessed experience to see a father take his newborn babe and call upon the powers of heaven to bless him in this earthly life. I recalled having witnessed this blessing with each of 5 of my children. My heart was always so full of gratitude for the blessing of being a mother and to watch my husband stand tall and worthy, well, what more could a girl ask for?
Upon returning home I learned that Laurel Carter had born her testimony! Wonder of Wonder, Miracle of Miracles. My heart wanted to burst and I was sorry that I had not witnessed this sweet moment in time. I have been Laurel's visiting teacher and friend for years and love her dearly. I occasionally get a little glimpse of what it will be like when we both return home and I can witness her in her celestial wholeness. Cristie and Jerry's hearts must have been brimming over with emotion and gratitude. Such a payday!
